Classic Peninsula Run, April 2014
Sometimes the simplest pleasures are the most rewarding … This mornings Cape Classic club run was the simple and classic Cape Peninsula tour via Silvermine down to Scarborough and then along into Simons Town. The weather was immaculate, clear skies, no wind and we had a really good turn out with 13 bikes in total. It was good to see some new and old faces come out for the ride and we all enjoyed a great breakfast at Bertha’s down in the Simons Town harbor.
All the club members bikes looked great lined up on the jetty and all drew some admiring glances from the people passing by. It was really nice to see a vintage Harley Davidson out with the group – being ridden on Cape Town’s roads rather than being stuck in a museum!
